2 requirements that will make you successful

Nelson Bunker Hunt was a 31 year old cotton farmer in Arkansas who then worked himself up to be the owner of a 6 billion dollar oil company. When asked once in an interview what he would recommend other people who want to become successful he said:

In his whole lifetime he has found there are only two requirements for success and anyone who practices them can be successful but most people never do.

Requirement number one is you must decide what you want in life, exactly what it is you want to do, have or be. Most people never make that decision, they have only vague general ideas of what they want to accomplish.

The second thing is you must determine the price you are going to have to pay in order to get what you want and resolve to pay that price. Those are the two. If anyone ever gets to the point of knowing what they want, they never get to the second point of understanding that there is a prize for everything we want in life. If we really want to enjoy it and be successful we have to be determined to pay the prize in advance. Success only comes after we’ve paid the prize.
You can reap what you sow but you have to sow first.

Do you know exactly what you want to do, have or be in  your life?
